Dear Brothers, Sisters and Fellow golfers,

The Ancient Order Of Hibernians, J.F.K. Division 1, Scranton, PA. is hosting the M.J. McHale/T.C. O’Malley Memorial Golf Tournament. The Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Stone Hedge Golf Course. Tee times start at 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.It is a Captain and Crew format.

The cost of $75.00 per golfer entry fee covers greens fees, cart and Banquet. The Banquet Dinner will be held following the Tournament at the Irish Cultural Society. There will be an open bar, and door prizes as well as dinner and desert.

The Tournament raises money to fund scholarships for grade school children heading to high school to help with the cost of a Catholic education.

The National AOH Golf event  will be held September 15-18 in Myrtle Beach, SC. This is open to anyone – not just AOH and LAOH. For $300 you get 3 days golf on 3 different courses, breakfast, banquet and open bar all 3 days.

How can you not go?

Please click on the links below for details about the 6th Annual Allegheny County AOH Board Celtic Open Scramble at South Park Golf Course.  Registration deadline is April 30, 2010 for the Golf Outing which is Friday, May 14th.

The National AOH golf tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC will be held at Wicked Stick Golf Course on Thursday, Sept. 16th, Indigo Creek G.C. Fri. the 17th, and River Oaks G.C. on Sat. the 18th.

Dinner will be held after each round – Thur. is seafood, Fri. is Southern, and Sat. is Steak.

The fee is $300 per person and it’s a three man scramble.

There will be two three man teams on each tee (to keep an eye on each other).  The courses are pretty much central Myrtle Beach (Route 501 being the center).

PA State AOH President Denny Donnelly will be staying at Sandcastle South which is centrally located.
