The next Pa. State Board meeting will be held Saturday , March 31, 2012 at the Doubletree Hotel at Greentree, 101 Doubletree Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15025. Meeting starts promptly at 1:00 PM.
Room rates are $119 a night. Call 412-922-8400 for reservations We have a room block under the name of “AOH“. You’ll need to mention that to obtain that rate. Otherwise the rate is much higher.

I have received from National Secretary Tom McNabb an end of
year printout of all
Pennsylvania AOH divisions. The following numbers are
derived from this printout.
* Total Membership = 7835 , up slightly from last
year.
*  76 Divisions  with the addition of Butler Div. 1 in November.
Another division in
Lancaster , Lancaster Co. is about  to start
in January.
*  12 County Boards, Lancaster Co. will be the 13th.
*  30
Counties out of 67 in Pennsylvania.
*  297 Priests and Religious are
members.
*   70 Members are in armed forces.
*   21 National Life
Members.
*   We are working on organizing new divisions in Pike, Allegheny
(2), Wayne, and
Westmoreland Counties.
*   All divisions should be
recruiting new members, retaining members, and
recovering lost
members.
*  We have plenty of room for more growth .

Election of division officers for 2012 should be completed by
now. Please send in your division’s Certificate of Elections, aka Form 9. We
need this information ASAP.
If you are starting the second year of a two year
term and there are NO changes just let me know and I will copy last years form
for 2012. If there are changes send me an updated form. You are required by our
National Constitution and PA State Bylaws to submit a Form 9 annually to the
National, State, and County Secretaries.
Also the following County Boards
still must submit their Form 9 for 2011to 2013:
Berks, Bucks,
Delaware, Northampton, Northumberland, and Schuylkill.

First, The Pa. State Board will meet next Saturday, December 3rd, at the VFW Hall,  440 Sterling Rd. (RT196) in Tobyhanna, Monroe Co. beginning promptly at 1:00 PM. All Officers and Chairmen giving reports must have typed copy for the State Secretary.

Second, when your division elections are complete please forward copy of the Certificate of Elections / Form 9 to the State
Secretary. A copy will be faxed to the National Secretary.

The good news is that the PA State Per Capita is still $2.00 per member and is due by March 31, 2012. We are able to maintain this low rate by the sale of the State Lottery Calendars. Without which are Pa. State PC would be $5 per the same as other states like NY. How many calendars does your division sell ?

The next Pa. State Board meeting will be held at the V.F.W., 440 Sterling Road, (Rte. 196) in Tobyhanna, Pa. 18466 at 1 P.M.

A block of 8 rooms is being held at the Quality Inn, 546 Pocono Blvd., Mt. Pocono, Pa. ( Rte.611) for any member in need of a room for that Saturday. The rate for the room is $67.00 plus tax ($73.03 Total) For reservation call 570-839-3600.
Tell operator it is under AOH/Tom Hayes.

There will be a fundraiser at the VFW that night “A Night at the Races” benefitting a widow of a VFW member who recently passed away.

The meeting was changed from Stroudsburg to Tobyhanna due to scheduling conflict per Tom Hayes.
