The company's business moved to the field of friction stir welding, and actively cooperated with saifoster to develop friction stir welding equipment and special friction stir welding fixture in the field of industrial metallurgy. Ningbo Jingcheng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has rich experience in the welding of anode and cathode plates. At present, it has been put into production in Yunnan as the "production base of plate components".

In the field of rail transit, vehicle lightweight has become the trend of development and the mainstream direction of development. The application of FSW in railway car body mainly includes: aluminum alloy car body of high-speed train, LNG transport tank, freight car body, intercity train, maglev train, on-board container box, etc. A large number of tests and engineering applications show that the friction stir welding technology is used to overturn the existing MIG welding production process, optimize production layout, improve production efficiency and reduce production costs.

Customer case of saifoster:

In 2003, saiforster company of aviation industry provided the first static gantry friction stir welding equipment for the connection of certain parts of the train, which opened the prelude of the application of friction stir welding in the rail transit industry.

In 2010, saifoster Aviation Industry Co., Ltd. provided static gantry friction stir welding equipment for CNR, which was used for the friction stir welding connection of a certain part of the train. In the same year, the company successfully developed the first 34 meter long movable gantry friction stir welding equipment in China, which is used for the welding of large parts of trains.

In 2012, saifoster delivered 4 sets of large-scale moving gantry friction stir welding equipment to CSR group for friction stir welding of large parts of car body. Among them, 52 meter long moving gantry friction stir welding equipment became the longest friction stir welding equipment in the world.

In 2013, saifoster company of aviation industry delivered another 26 meter long moving gantry friction stir welding equipment to CSR for friction stir welding of large parts of the car body. During the implementation of the project, a series of technical problems, such as complex design, difficult to control flatness, difficult to weld, assembly clearance of profile, tooling, rolling scheme and optimization of process parameters, were overcome, which greatly improved the flatness of side wall and overall beauty of the car body.
